Well, in the past week the NYPD have:
threatened to ticket a woman for cycling while "too sexy".
and ticketed a man for "riding a bike not in the bike line" (below)




Now, I'm getting the general concensus that the NYPD dislike cyclists, or it's a hell of a coincidence.


I know this isn't really news, but hell, the video's a laugh.

Bikes lanes are there for a reason.

Wait.. did he ride into the back of that police cruiser!? Probably wouldn't show them this video..

Bike lanes are there to be used when safe to do so, and when your speed is <15mph (or <8mph on shared use paths) but are NOT compulsory in the UK or USA (At least they're not in New York)
