Can't say I've had the same experience but I know exactly what you mean by nobody wanting to know about the fat kid, it's horrible not actually having any human interaction until secondary (middle) school.
On the bright side, because you're the typical fat kid and therefore you must be jolly you can forgive everything they ever said and did to you...
