Fit an aftermarket radio HU in Fiat Grande Punto - Step 1 Remove OEM Radio
Just some notes and pictures from when I had to install an aftermarket radio in to my car, Fiat Grande Punto 2007.
Getting Started
First off you will need to follow my other guide first which tells you how to get a switched ignition live for your head unit because the OEM radio is controlled via canbus. So your radio will not power on.

How to remove the stock (OEM) radio
To remove the stock radio you need a pair of radio removal keys to get the stereo out, these cost about £1 from Halfords or eBay.
Once you push it in you'll hear a click and the stereo should slide out.
There are two connectors at the back of the radio, basically power and the antenna. Unplug both of these. The power (left) has clips on the connector so press them in before pulling.
You can now move on to step 2.
