Facebook - Will start to stream (Warner Bros) films!

This announcement, which came from Warner Bros details that they will stream some of their films / movies on Facebook.

Warner Bros are the first major Hollywood studio to contact and work with Facebook in this way, but no doubt if it's successful then many more will be looking to jump on the band wagon.

How it works
It works by charging people 30 Facebook credits, the equivalent of £1.85, ($3), to rent the film. They then have 48 hours in which to watch it.

The film ever to be streamed by Facebook will be The Dark Knight, a 2008 release with other films following over the coming months.

"It gives consumers a simple, convenient way to access and enjoy our films through the world's largest social network".

Warner Bros is the first big Hollywood player to make this step but if it's a success others will no doubt try something similar.

Downsides?
The service will only be available to Facebook users in America to start with, but we can all appear as Americans, right? :dno
