Thug breaks blind man's jaw
While on his travels, Peter Barlett, a blind man accidently bumped in to another man at a train station which resulted in him getting his jaw broken. Even after he apologised.
Peter Barlett:
"He was walking in front of me and just stopped and I brushed past him lightly" said the 30 year old, registered blind two years ago. I said "Sorry mate" and carried on.
When i got to the steps, someone shouted "Oi, blood". I assumed that it was directed at me but i thought best to just ignore it but then i heard running footsteps behind me and before i could turn round he hit me, i felt a giant force in my back and i flew forwards in to the side of the bridge where i hit my head. The attack resulted in me collapsing on the floor, later finding out that i had broken my jaw.
"It's the confidence that's really been taken away from me".
The police are hunting the attacker. The attack took place at Dorchester station. Not Manchester..
