[TUT] How to host your website(s) for FREE [000webhost]

How to host your website for free


STEP ONE:

Open your web browser and navigate to: www.000webhost.com

STEP TWO:

Here's the specification of the free hosting plan.

STEP THREE:

Click the Sign Up image on the home page.

STEP FOUR:

Sign up with correct details.

STEP FIVE:

Once you have created your account, you may need to activate it via the email they send you, only activated go to: http://members.000webhost.com and login.

STEP SIX:

In the domain panel click "Create New".

STEP SEVEN:

Enter the name of a website that you own and choose a password, (This will be your FTP password).

STEP EIGHT:

Your website should then be listed, like below.

STEP NINE:

This is the custom cpanel where you can view and change various settings.

STEP TEN:

Here's the basic information they provide you with about your domain and the server it's hosted on.

STEP ELEVEN:

You have to change the name servers for your website so that they recognise the hosting server.

To change the name servers for your website log into the website where you got your website from (eg. godaddy.com) or in this case co.cc

If you've followed my other tutorial on how to get a .co.cc domain, this is how to change the name servers.

Log into http://co.cc and click your domain name in the table. Once you've done that you'll be presented with an image similar to below, click the "Set Up" button and enter the name servers.
