What's the oldest domain name you know of? - Mark - 23-08-2011 What's the oldest domain name you know of? So I was whois'ing a clients website to see if they were hosted with us and saw that It was registered in 2006, so I googles them and see a similar but shorter version of their domain and I'm thinking "Why didn't they get that one.", well the answer is obvious, this other one was registered in 1997! So I then started whois'ing domains that I thought would be old and got to 1992 without cheating. What's the oldest domain name you know of?
