Apple 1 - Mark - 24-11-2010 Apple 1 The Apple 1, the first commercially produced computer was sold in London on the 23rd of November 2010, (Yesterday) for £133,350 (which is 425 times its original price). Steven Wozniak (the cool one) even comments. [Apple co-founder] Quote:It was an important step - but it didn't feel like it when i designed it RE: Apple 1 - Drumm - 25-11-2010 What kind of output is it? Or just a square box with a keyboard? RE: Apple 1 - Mark - 25-11-2010 The Apple I was a fully assembled circuit board containing about 60+ chips. However, to make a working computer, users still had to add a case, power supply transformers, power switch, ASCII keyboard, and composite video display. The Apple I's built-in computer terminal circuitry was distinctive. All one needed was a keyboard and an inexpensive television set. I think you just hooked it up to a TV. |
