New tool against spam signups - Mark - 01-11-2010 I've now implemented reCAPTCHA in to the registration form instead of the default MyBB verification that was getting owned. Get past that suckers! :blackhat RE: New tool against spam signups - T3hRogue - 01-11-2010 *makes new account* ... I got past it RE: New tool against spam signups - Drumm - 01-11-2010 At last RE: New tool against spam signups - Mark - 01-11-2010 You're a human. Well... i think you are. :dno I believe these are sophisticated bots controlled by a super 1337 bot master and his army of bots which were making fake sign ups and putting shit in their sigs. That n00b yesterday who tried spamming received a perma ban then thought it was funny to post in the guest section so he received a further pwning. No more trouble from him. He was human. :yay RE: New tool against spam signups - T3hRogue - 01-11-2010 I'm guessing you like the report to mod button now Have you deleted all spam accounts? I've deleted a few, not all of them yet though. I've just implemented this plugin minutes before making this thread so in a few days we'll see if it's worked. Also: 1,000 posts! RE: New tool against spam signups - T3hRogue - 01-11-2010 'Bout time you hit that milestone Mark |
