How to find your I.P - The Mentor - 05-10-2011 Hey guys Finding your I.P is EXTREMELY easy , all you have to do is goto http://www.whatsmyip.org/ http://www.whatismyip.com/ http://www.whatismyip.net/ If they all come up the same then Its your real I.P . If not then there is something Hiding your I.P , check you dont have a proxy enabled or something else. If all else Fails Restart your Internet Browser. --The Mentor-- RE: How to find your I.P - Drumm - 05-10-2011 ... RE: How to find your I.P - Mark - 05-10-2011 ... Quote:If all else Fails Restart your Internet Browser. Will restarting my Internet browser change my IP? What If I have more than one installed, should I restart them all? RE: How to find your I.P - The Mentor - 05-10-2011 Restarting your Internet Browser WONT change your i.p , if you have more than one OPEN restart them all.. Sometimes Restarting your computer will Slightly change your i.p eg, from 66.66.66.66 to 66.66.66.67 but you can call your internet provider and ask for a STATIC i.p , which means that every new connection your computer makes will change the i.p RE: How to find your I.P - Drumm - 05-10-2011 What if I have lots of computers. Do they all have different IPs? RE: How to find your I.P - The Mentor - 05-10-2011 Yes , but not very different i.p's eg comp1 - ip=88.88.88.88 comp2 - ip=88.88.88.52 comp3 - ip=88.88.88.15 See it , Your i.p is given to you by your ISP (internet service provider) , an ISP will own certain ip's maybe from 100.0.0.1 - 120.0.0.1 and will share them out with theyre customers. Sometimes you can have a Hidden i.p where your i.p is not 88.88.88.88 it is actually 88.88.88.88.52.56.22.82.193.121.7.2 but your I.p will just come up as 88.88.88.88 Because that is what is called your MAIN ip and the longer one is your Hidden I.p that for security reasons only your ISP can see. RE: How to find your I.P - Mark - 05-10-2011 So If I have a computer and a laptop they will both have a different IP address? What If I have two web browsers on each like google chrome and internet explorer that are open will that give me four IP addresses? RE: How to find your I.P - bigsharn - 05-10-2011 I Pee address? RE: How to find your I.P - Fireren - 06-10-2011 What if you have a dynamic IP Address. RE: How to find your I.P - The Mentor - 06-10-2011 Mark - You would have 4 HIDDEN i.ps but only 2 main i.p's bigsharn if that was a question it is said like that Fireren - Everyone has a dynamic ip you just dont really use it (hacking wise) , static is your like most important i.p you shouldnt worry about your dynamic ip , theres not point. |
